Getting Started
What does Tripix do?
Tripix helps you visualise your travel history on a map and explore stats about the journeys you’ve been on.
Why do I need to add my address history?
Your address history helps Tripix understand where you were based at different points in your life, improving trip detection accuracy.
Travel Detection
How does Travel Detection work?
Tripix uses your photos, timestamps, and location clues to help identify trips and place them correctly on your map.
Why is a trip missing?
Trips can be harder to detect when there are gaps in your photo library, missing metadata, or incomplete address history.
Photos & Library
Do all my photos need location data?
No, but having more photos with accurate timestamps and location metadata helps Tripix build a more complete picture of your journeys.
Privacy & Data
Is my data private?
Yes. Tripix is designed with privacy at its core. Your photos, travel history, address history and other personal data are processed and stored locally on your device. Tripix does not upload your photos or personal travel data to external servers. You remain in control of the permissions you grant to Tripix, and these can be changed at any time through your device settings.
Troubleshooting
Why are my stats not updating?
Try checking that your photo permissions are enabled, your address history is complete, and any trip scanning or refresh process has finished successfully.
