Tripix is designed around a simple principle: your travel story belongs to you.
Your photos stay your photos.
Tripix analyses the information it needs on your device. Your photos, travel history and address history do not need to be uploaded to Tripix servers in order to build your personal travel timeline.

This Privacy Policy explains how Tripix uses and protects information when you use the app.
Information Used by Tripix
Tripix uses information you provide directly, together with information required to support core app features. This can include your address history, detected travel history, app preferences and selected photo metadata.
Photo Library and Metadata
If you grant photo-library permission, Tripix can analyse metadata stored with your photos, including dates and location information, to identify trips, organise your travel history and generate travel statistics and insights.
Your photo library is analysed on-device. Tripix does not upload your photos or personal travel data to external servers for trip detection.
Address History
Your address history helps Tripix understand where “home” was at different points in time so it can more accurately distinguish everyday photos from travel. Address-history processing takes place on your device.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to provide Tripix features such as detecting and displaying trips, building maps, generating summaries, achievements and travel insights, and helping you manage your personal travel history.
Data Storage
Your Tripix travel data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app may remove locally stored Tripix data, subject to how your device manages app data and backups.
Your Choices and Permissions
You remain in control of permissions granted to Tripix. Permissions such as photo-library access can be changed or revoked at any time through your device settings. Some Tripix features may not function if the permissions they rely on are unavailable.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the version or effective date shown with the policy will be updated where appropriate.
